DIY: Frozen Themed Party Invitations
October 6, 2014
Blue Shimmer cardstock - Recollections 12x12
White Gold Shimmer Cardstock - Recollections 8 1/2x11 cardstock pack
White card base - Recollections Value Pack (see photo of package below).
Very sharp and sturdy scissors
Snowflakes cut on my Cricut Expression using Wrap It Up cartridge - Snowflake on page 68 at 6"
Cut snowflake pieces according to settings above.
Snowflake pieces all cut.
Glue snowflake pieces together. I used Quick Dry adhesive by 3M (I love that stuff!).
With the 3M glue, very little glue is needed.

Inside of invitation
I cut the Elsa and Anna pictures with a 1/16" to 1/8" border and glued them to the cards slightly off center to the left side.
The "Do you want to build a snowman?" quote was cut and corner-rounded. The quote should be glued centered on the card and just covering the bottom edge of the Elsa and Anna picture.
The Olaf picture and quote was cut small enough to fit onto the left side of the interior of the invitation. This is where I'm not happy. I just didn't have time to size the inside parts to fit inside the center of the snowflake so that they weren't visible from the outside.
The right interior of the invitation has the party information.
Completed invitation: You can see parts of the interior pieces from the outside, especially on the right.
I have more Frozen themed posts coming for the party favors and decorations. Stay tuned!
