Completed DIY Frozen themed birthday party invitation
Completed Invitation
Munchkin #2 is having a birthday party this coming weekend with Disney's Frozen as the theme.  I found a cute snowflake invitation on Pinterest (which is from Etsy), but it was a two-sided card, and Munchkin's mom want a card which would open up.  I'm not 100% happy with the results, but I was notified of the party date with only 2 weeks notice and these are very time intensive.

Step 1:

Cut snowflake pieces according to settings above.

Step 2:
Glue snowflake pieces together.  I used Quick Dry adhesive by 3M (I love that stuff!).
With the 3M glue, very little glue is needed.

Step 3: Glue snowflakes to pre-made cards as shown here.

Carefully, cut the card using the Snowflake as your guide.

Step 4:

I cut the Elsa and Anna pictures with a 1/16" to 1/8" border and glued them to the cards slightly off center to the left side.

Step 5:
The "Do you want to build a snowman?" quote was cut and corner-rounded.  The quote should be glued centered on the card and just covering the bottom edge of the Elsa and Anna picture.

Step 6:

The Olaf picture and quote was cut small enough to fit onto the left side of the interior of the invitation.  This is where I'm not happy.  I just didn't have time to size the inside parts to fit inside the center of the snowflake so that they weren't visible from the outside.
The right interior of the invitation has the party information.

The finished product.

I have more Frozen themed posts coming for the party favors and decorations. Stay tuned!
