Mark Hamill (R) during the Q and A |
This week's throwback Thursday post is from the first time I got to see Mark Hamill in person. I found out about this screening of Kingsman: The Secret
Service from a tweet from Mark Hamill.
He tweeted an email address to ask about attending a screening after
which he would be doing a QandA session.
The screening was held at the AMC Century City 15 Theaters, and they
gave us a free popcorn and soda/water. I
loved the movie, and I was really excited to see Mark Hamill in person for the
first time in my life! I had a major
crush on him after I saw Star Wars when I was 4 years old.

I love that Mark Hamill participated in this event so long
before the release of the film and having a role so small.
I ended up seeing this movie several times at early free
screenings, then I took my nieces to see it after its theatrical release. One of those screenings had a Q&A with
the costume designer for the film discussing the look for the characters as
well as the suits which defined a Kingsman Agent.
If you still haven’t seen "Kingsman: The Secret Service," I
highly recommend it. It’s a really fun
movie.
TTFN,
Veronica
